National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand (NITUK) is one of the thirty-one National Institutes of Technology in the country. It was established in 2009 under the Act of Parliament by the Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya) and is recognized as an Institute of National Importance. NITUK is the Technical Education Hub in a Green and Clean environment in the Land of the Gods (known as Dev Bhoomi) in Uttarakhand. It provides a peaceful and serene atmosphere for students' academic development. We focus on the initiatives of Career-related Counselling from time to time for the students shortly, and it is expected that our students will create jobs for others in the country and overseas in the future. This way, they are getting ready to contribute to Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's initiatives on "Atmanirbhar Bharat." Our vision is

For achieving this aim, we at NITUK are focussing on innovations, research, latest technologies, industry outset, and six monthly/one year industry internships. The meritorious students, distinguished faculty, well-equipped laboratories and classrooms, and most importantly, continually revised undergraduate and postgraduate programs involving the most recent technologies are the keys behind the Institute's 131 rank in NIRF 2022 among almost 15,000 Institutions in country, despite the remote location of the Institute and limited resources available in the hill area. Furthermore, NITUK is recognized in the band "PROMISING" under the category "Institute of National Importance & Central Universities/CFTs (Technical)" in the ARIIA 2021. Every year, our students are selected by many leading companies in the country, many of which are MNCs. We will continue to work on our vision for the country's best engineers and the world.
